Rancho Tonto Catch-A-Trout is a local pond where you and the kids can come and fish for Rainbow Trout. Our kids had a great time fishing here. Be aware they do charge by the pound for the fish you catch. Forest Rd 29, Payson Az (928) 478-0002

Out Of Africa is a wildlife park in Camp Verde Arizona. They have wide variety of animals and private/vip tours are available. We highly recommend the vip tours. Tonto Creek Fish Hatchery is located near the headwaters of Tonto Creek beneath the Mogollon Rim in the Tonto National Forest. It is a great place to escape searing desert summer heat, or to frolic in winter snow. The hatchery and surrounding wetland area provide outstanding opportunities for learning adventures and family outings such as picnics, hiking and watching wildlife. The clear blue waters of Fossil Creek, make this a favorite local hiking destination. The hike is just under 8 miles. This is an arduous hike, please make sure you bring plenty of water and check to make sure the roads are open. The roads are periodically closed. Camp Verde, AZ 86322
